Easily add and update your medications in Allergy Buddy. Follow these steps to add, edit, or remove a medication.
To add a medication:
- Tap More.
- Tap Medications.
- Tap Add Medication Reminder.
- Tap Search medication and begin typing the brand or generic name.
- Select from the list, or finish typing the name and tap Create.
- Accept or choose the icon for the medication. Entering Strength and Unit is optional.
- Tap Add Medication.
- Reason for taking is optional; enter the estimated Start date.
- Enter the Frequency of how often you take the medication.
- Note: selecting the Only as needed option won't set any reminders.
- For scheduled items, complete and Activate the times you'd like to receive reminders.
- Tap Continue.
- Review your entries. You can Add Treatment Duration if the medication is only for a short period.
- Tap Add Reminder. You can now tap Add medication to create a new reminder or I'm done to finish the process.
To edit a medication:
- Tap More.
- Tap Medications.
- Tap the medication you want to edit. You can change its Reason for taking, Start date, Frequency, Time, and Quantity, as well as turn the Medication Reminder on or off.
- Tap Save.
To remove a medication:
- Tap More.
- Tap Medications.
- Tap Delete and confirm.
All reminders and future entries are deleted with the medication. Any doses you logged that day or earlier remain visible and are stored as historical data.
